Process
Selling or purchasing your home through an auction is easy, with just a few steps to follow:

1. Together with the seller, Fox Residential Auctions schedules the auction date, usually within seven weeks.
2. Fox Residential Auctions creates and implements a proactive advertising and marketing program designed to maximize buyer interest and attract the widest possible market.
3. Fox Residential Auctions coordinates open houses and inspections by appointment with the seller and agent.
4. Fox Residential Auctions provides the seller with weekly status reports throughout the process.
5. Buyers’ agents can earn referral fees by registering their prospects with a completed Buyer Registration form not later than 48 hours prior to the auction. The registration form is available in the Property Information Package or by calling or e-mailing Fox Residential Auctions.
6. The auction takes place and a Buyer’s Premium is added to the gavel price to create the contract price.
7. The successful bidder signs the contract at the auction and deposits the required earnest money with Fox Residential Auctions.
8. The Seller pays a small amount for advertising costs.
9. Fox Residential Auctions attend the settlement, which takes place within 45 days of the auction.
